Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Atiqur Rahman sent him
to the jail after showing him arrested.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Bakar Siddik of Dhanmondi Police
Station sent Latif Siddique to the CMM court after he (Latif
Siddique) turned himself to the police station this afternoon.
He came to Bangladesh from India on Sunday night.
Multiple arrest warrants were issued against him in a number
of cases for his remarks on Hajj and Tablig Jamaat that hurt the
religious sentiment of the members Muslim community.
